Kempo Karate has benefits for adults of all ages and shapes, and our classes are geared to give every level of learner what they need.

Adult Kempo - Introduction

The introductory classes in Kempo are taught by certified instructors and provide a chance to become acquainted with the art of Shaolin Kempo in an environment that allows students to be comfortable without feeling the need to keep up with the advanced classes and ranks.

Students in this class are taught the basics of Shaolin Kempo, including blocking and striking techniques, grab defense, and slapping out (the ability to fall without hurting oneself). Students are encouraged to ask questions and take charge of their training at all times. This class is your chance to become familiar with the art, and we welcome you to the fold.

Adult Kempo -Beginner

Students at the beginning levels learn various techniques, blocks, strikes, and forms that are meant to enhance their familiarity with the martial arts and their own bodies. The beginning class is the first group lessons a student attends, from White belt to Orange belt.

Adult Kempo - Intermediate

The intermediate classes in Adult Kempo feature more advanced techniques, more intense training, and more required practice. This is the point when beginners become martial artists, and start to hone their skills and really put an edge on their strengths.

Adult Kempo - Black Belt (Advanced)

The Advanced adult Kempo classes are for black belts and are the most intense of all levels of training.

Latest Belt Testing

On February 21,2007, Masters and the Mullaney center was pleased to award four new belts to testing students in the adult class. Congratulations to all our students who worked hard and earned their rank!

Sparring

In the sparring classes, the student is prepared for competitive sparring in tournaments, as well as given a chance to put what they have learned to the test in a fun, fast-paced, and safe environment.

Utilizing full padding and gear, the student learns in real time how to handle an aggressive opponent in a confrontation. Students enjoy greater confidence and achieve greater skill when they spar regularly.

Get ready to wake up right! Every weekday morning you can spend an hour getting yourself in better shape, toning, or just getting that blood pumping in a fun, coordinated workout.

Start every day as if it were on purpose! This class features toning of an individual body part each day, including arms, legs, butt, abs and more!
